Junior dragon boat teams from Wokingham Canoe Club have once again put in impressive performances at The Henley Dragon’s Annual Junior Regatta, winning three of the four main trophies. The club entered three teams; ‘Dragonflies’ U14 girls, ‘Wrymlyns’ U14 boys and ‘Warriors’ U16 boys. (more…)

Congratulations!

Some of our racing juniors have been on a winning streak!
  • Hafsa Kabeer won the prize for ‘BEST VISITING JUNIOR’ in the Hare and Hounds series at Wey – results.
  • Sara Kabeer (2nd ~ Girls Lightnings) and Ed Pearson (3rd ~ Boys Lightnings) were awarded medals for  last year’s West Thames Grand Prix series of events. This was a particularly splendid achievement as they only took part in two out of the four qualifying events.

Sara and Ed show off their medals. (from the left: Paul Wycherley, Ed Pearson, Brian Kelly, Sara Kabeer and Andy Gray).
