Our club runs many great trips throughout the year, some local and others as far away as north Wales and the Scilly Isles. Whether you fancy the excitement of whitewater or kayak-surfing, or prefer a gentle paddle on canals and rivers, we are bound to have something that suits you. We also run weekend and longer camping trips and a juniors’ kayak camping trip.

Details of club trips will be sent to club members by email, and will be posted on the calendar. To book a place on a trip please contact the trips officer

If you wish to borrow any club equipment when going on a club trip, please arrange this in advance with the appropriate officer (see Use of club equipment page).

A Fiver a Trip

We ask everybody who joins a trip and doesn’t drive to pay £5 as a contribution to parking fees and fuel costs.

The committee feels that this is the fairest way to share expenses. The fee will be the same for both short and long trips and any money left over from one trip will be kept for subsequent ones.

To keep it simple, it would be best if you could bring the right amount in cash on the day of the trip.
