Broads Camping Trip Sept 2025

Friday 19 September

River Waveney

****This trip is now full. Waitlist open****

I am organising another trip to Broads national park for 19-21st September 2025. I have a prvisional booking on a loverly riverside campsite in the southern area of the Broads on the Norfolk/Suffolk boarder on the river Waveny at the https://www.threeriverscamping.co.uk/. This is a very desirable campsite so I need to move quickly to confirm our places as it does book up quickly. Bookings are based on designated pitches that are only allowed to have a certain number of cars and tents each.

Paddling will be day trips along the river Waveny, returning to the same campsite each night.

Details:
Dates: Fri 19th to Sunday 21st September
Accommodation - Camping, small tent required, large tents less desirable unless sharing with a few people as we will have limited space on our designated pitches for both cars and tents.
Food: Bring your own or eat at pubs in the evening
Cost: £50 approx for campsite fees plus parking, fuel, meals out etc
Vans: The campsite does take vans, but we likely wont have space on our pitch. If you want to bring a campervan then let me know and we may still be able to book you a serparate pitch for a van.

To register your initial interest please get in touch with me ASAP, preferably by Sunday 23rd Feb. I will need to know what size tent you will have and how many people will be in it so that I can determine how many pitches I might need. I should be able to add the odd extra person to the booking later, but if I need an extra pitch then there may be none left.
Please contact me by WhatsApp or safety@wokinghamcanoeclub.co.uk.

Kind Regards

Tom Dixon
