Calendar - trips and events

Regular Club Sessions are Sunday mornings year round  (kayak, canoe & SUP -- on the water for 10:00; dragon boating on the water for 10:30).  Wednesday evenings April-October (kayak, canoe & SUP -- on the water for 18:30). Monday evenings April-October (racing time trials, -- on the water for 18:30)

Please note that all dates and sessions are subject to change due to weather and river conditions or logistics. Club equipment may be borrowed for these activities.

Introductory Session

Arrive for 12.00 noon, on the water around 12.30pm. An Introductory Session is £10 each per time (card or cash). (Note - we will be waiting for the Recreational Session to return before starting the Intro Session, so some minor delays could occur)

September camping trip

Friday 11 September

Llangollen canal and Pontcysyllte aquaduct

Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September. Two days paddling including a day on the Llangollen canal including the Pontcysyllte aquaduct and the Chirk(460 yards) and Whithouse (190 yards) tunnels.

Second day on the River Severn, e.g. Crew Green Bridge to Montford Bridge.

Facilities are basic but include the following: 2 showers, 2 wash basins & toilets, Small kitchen area , washing up , kettle ,& microwave.

Camping cost £20 per person for 2 nights. Campervans are allowed.
